VasoNova, CR Bard Settle Catheter Trade Secrets Case

Law360, New York (October 03, 2013, 7:23 PM ET) -- VasoNova Inc. has agreed to settle its claims in California federal court that a unit of medical device giant CR Bard Inc. stole its trade secrets in acquiring catheter technology from a former VasoNova executive, the parties announced Wednesday in court papers.

The settlement also covers the counterclaims of Sorin Grunwald, former chief technology officer at California-based VasoNova, and his Romedex International SRL company alleging he worked on the disputed technology before VasoNova existed and requesting a court declaration that the company has no ownership rights...
