Ex-Tyco Chief Financial Officer Granted Parole

Law360, Los Angeles (October 3, 2013, 7:58 PM EDT) -- Former Tyco International Ltd. Chief Financial Officer Mark Swartz, who was convicted in 2005 for his role in a massive corporate plundering of the company, was granted parole Wednesday, according to his attorney and the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. 

Swartz, who was Tyco's CFO from 1995 to 2002, appeared before a New York state parole board via teleconference Wednesday from Manhattan's Lincoln Correctional Facility and was granted approval, according to New York DOCCS spokeswoman Linda Foglia. His tentative release date is...
