Employment Suits A High Court Favorite In '08 Term

Law360, New York (February 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court's term is only about half over, but already it has agreed to hear an unusually high number of labor and employment lawsuits, which span the spectrum from ERISA quarrels to retaliation disputes.

Overall, the Supreme Court has ruled on, heard oral argument or agreed to hear about 14 employment cases since October, including six in the past week alone.
