High Court Denies Celebrity Cruise Tip Withholding Appeal

Law360, New York (October 7, 2013, 4:47 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear a putative class of Celebrity Cruises Inc. cabin stewards' appeal of a decision dismissing allegations that the cruise line withheld their tips on the grounds that U.S. labor laws do not apply to foreign workers on foreign-owned ships.
