Exelis Lands $122M Navy Engineering Support Contract

Law360, New York (October 7, 2013, 6:05 PM EDT) -- Exelis Inc. has nabbed a five-year, $121.8 million contract for systems engineering support for the U.S. Navy’s command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems, the defense contractor said Monday.

The Fleet Systems Engineering Team award is a cost-plus-fixed-fee task order under the Navy’s SeaPort-enhanced indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract that may run through September 2018. The contract includes the base year plus two option years and two potential award periods, Exelis said.
