Foreign Cruise Workers’ Labor Fight Sunk In High Court

Law360, New York (October 09, 2013, 8:18 PM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear a suit accusing Celebrity Cruises Inc. of withholding workers’ tips, most likely because there were no Americans in the putative class, in a decision some experts say adds to case law that lets cruise lines duck tougher U.S. labor laws.
