Court OKs Settlement In C.H. Robinson FLSA Suits

Law360, New York (February 22, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A major chapter in a complicated legal saga was closed Wednesday when a judge approved the settlement of about a hundred lawsuits brought by 525 people alleging that transportation company C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Judge Joan Ericksen of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota approved the settlement and dismissed the cases Wednesday. According to court documents filed in November, the plaintiffs will receive an aggregate amount of about $2 million, including fees and costs.
