Investors Target Enviro Co.'s Execs Over Stock Decline

Law360, New York (October 09, 2013, 7:26 PM ET) -- An environmental services company co-founded by former Vice President Dan Quayle was hit with a derivative suit Monday claiming company executives misled investors about a takeover of a Chinese bottled water company and a move into the hydraulic fracturing industry.

George Patilla filed the suit in Arizona federal court against Nuverra Environmental Solutions — known as Heckman Corp. until last May — accusing the company's board of directors and officers of breach of fiduciary duty, waste of corporate assets and unjust enrichment.
