Prosecutors Say AUO Exec Drove Price-Fixing 'Getaway Car'

Law360, San Francisco (October 9, 2013, 7:59 PM ET) -- AU Optronics Corp. executive Richard Bai didn’t attend most of the secret Taiwanese meetings where manufacturers of liquid crystal displays allegedly fixed prices, but he “drove the getaway car” by following his competitors’ agreements when setting prices, federal prosecutors told a California jury in closing arguments Wednesday.
