Google Wants 9th Circ. To Review Gmail Wiretap Ruling

Law360, New York (October 10, 2013, 5:10 PM ET) -- Google Inc. on Wednesday pushed a California federal judge for permission to immediately appeal a ruling that upheld most claims in a class action over the company's alleged scanning of users' emails, saying the case presents novel questions about the interpretation of the outdated federal Wiretap Act.
