Dr. Oz Ducks Suit Claiming TV Advice Caused Injury

Law360, New York (October 11, 2013, 1:34 PM ET) -- A New York state judge dismissed efforts by a viewer of Dr. Mehmet Oz’s daytime talk show to collect damages for allegedly unsound medical advice dispensed over the air, finding the show's audience is not owed any duty of care, according to a decision released Thursday.
