Google Dodges Claims It Stole Trade Secrets For Video Chat

Law360, Los Angeles (October 11, 2013, 5:44 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Thursday tossed a technology company's claims that Google Inc. stole the idea for a group video chat feature in the Google Plus social networking service from its platform, finding the plaintiff failed to allege specific facts to show Google misappropriated trade secrets or breached a contract.
