Law360, Philadelphia (October 15, 2013, 4:20 PM EDT) -- The Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board on Friday revoked a surface mining permit granted to a Schuylkill County mine operator, concluding that the state’s Department of Environmental Protection overstepped its bounds in ruling on a lease dispute over the site during the permitting process.
