Euro Fracking Rule Spells Trouble For Shale Development

Law360, New York (October 16, 2013, 6:40 PM ET) -- Legislation approved by the European Parliament last week requires detailed environmental assessments for all hydraulic fracturing wells, a measure experts say substantially reduces member state regulatory flexibility and forces energy companies to think twice about pursuing European fracking projects.
