Reed Smith Can't Shake EquiHome Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (October 16, 2013, 4:34 PM ET) -- A New Jersey state judge ruled Friday that Reed Smith LLP couldn't toss a mortgage company's lawsuit claiming the firm and Coffey & Associates PC negligently failed to advise the company of insurance coverage in a consumer fraud lawsuit that spawned a $780,000 jury verdict and helped drive it into bankruptcy.
