Apple Can't Use FRAND Defense In Wi-LAN Trial, Judge Says

Law360, Washington (October 16, 2013, 4:15 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Friday ruled that Apple Inc. cannot bring up fair licensing term issues in Wi-LAN's patent infringement suit against the company over mobile handsets and tablets, barring Apple from using that defense against damages during trial.
