Calif. Lawmakers Blast Claims Deadline In Exide Bankruptcy

Law360, Wilmington (October 18, 2013, 3:57 PM ET) -- Two California state senators who represent an area near bankrupt Exide Technologies Inc.’s battery recycling plant — which has been the subject of intense environmental scrutiny — asked a Delaware bankruptcy judge Thursday to extend the looming claims deadline for people asserting pollution-related injuries against the debtor.
