Monsanto Genetic Engineering Battle Consolidated In Kan.

Law360, Los Angeles (October 17, 2013, 6:24 PM EDT) -- At least 16 lawsuits filed against seed giant Monsanto Co. over the appearance of unapproved genetically engineered wheat will be consolidated in Kansas, the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation ruled Wednesday.

The MDL currently consists of five cases pending in four district courts and will potentially include 11 related actions also pending in various courts.
