Pa. Detention Centers Exit 'Kids For Cash' Suit For $2.5M

Law360, Philadelphia (October 17, 2013, 3:21 PM EDT) -- Three Pennsylvania detention center operators agreed Wednesday to pay $2.5 million to settle a federal class action brought by juveniles who were allegedly harmed or sent to private prisons in a “kids for cash” kickback scheme.
