Boston Scientific To Pay $30M In Defibrillator FCA Suit

Law360, New York (October 17, 2013, 4:36 PM ET) -- Boston Scientific Corp. will pay $30 million to settle a long-running False Claims Act suit alleging its Guidant LLC unit fleeced Medicare by submitting fraudulent bills for two lines of defective implantable defibrillators, the U.S. Department of Justice said Thursday.
