High Court Will Not Hear St. Jude Valve Case

Law360, New York (February 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court said on Monday that it will not hear a case against St. Jude Medical SC over its allegedly defective artificial heart valve, letting stand a state court’s decision to toss the case according the doctrine of regulatory preemption.
