USPTO Explains AIA Review Deadline In Nixing St. Jude Case

Law360, New York (October 22, 2013, 5:31 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office last week rejected St. Jude Medical Inc.'s request for an inter partes review of Volcano Corp.'s cardiology computer system patent, finding the petition time-barred in a decision that clarifies how the deadline works for the new America Invents Act filings.
