NJ Pol Suggests Bringing Slot Machines To Horse Racetracks

Law360, New York (October 22, 2013, 10:33 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey General Assemblyman on Tuesday announced legislation to bring slot machine games to the state’s horse-racing tracks and formally regulate the practice, a suggestion to further expand legal gambling as New Jersey prepares to roll out Internet gambling.

Assemblyman Ron Dancer, R-Ocean, announced two pieces of legislation, a bill and a resolution, to introduce slot machine gaming at New Jersey horse-racing tracks, with the proceeds going to help both the horse-racing and casino industries.
