Pa. Sen. Seeks To Bar Parental, Marital Job Discrimination

Law360, Philadelphia (October 23, 2013, 5:06 PM ET) -- A Pennsylvania state senator on Tuesday announced plans to introduce legislation banning employers from asking job applicants about their marital status and whether they have or intend to have children.

Sen. Daylin Leach, D-Montgomery, seeks to put an end to the practice of what he calls “parental and marital” profiling.
