CEO John Sculley is considering making a bid for beleaguered smartphone maker BlackBerry Ltd. alongside unnamed Canadian partners, sources told the Globe and Mail on Thursday. Sculley, who has said he is a longtime BlackBerry user, would enter the fray with a bid that could rival an existing preliminary offer worth $4.7 billion from Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd., the phone maker's biggest shareholder.
