Racetrack Must Offer Simulcasts Of Out-Of-State Horse Races

Law360, New York (October 25, 2013, 8:55 PM ET) -- A Florida state court judge has ruled that Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino is required under state law to provide access to simulcasts of out-of-state thoroughbred horse races to pari-mutuel betting facilities in South Florida, law firm Becker & Poliakoff announced Tuesday.

Isle Casino & Racing Pompano Park first filed suit against Gulfstream in 2009, along with six other permit holders, after Gulfstream threatened to deny them access to evening simulcast signals.
