Perdue Accused Of Lying About 'Humane' Chicken Treatment

Law360, Los Angeles (October 24, 2013, 10:20 PM ET) -- A putative class action on Thursday accused chicken producer Perdue Farms Inc. of misleading consumers by promoting its chickens as humanely raised in an U.S. Department of Agriculture-approved process, when it used the same inhumane industry standards as other chicken farms.
