Nature's Products Hit With $3.3M Verdict Over Prolab Recall

Law360, San Francisco (October 24, 2013, 8:11 PM ET) -- A Florida federal jury ruled Thursday that Nature's Products Inc. owes Natrol Inc. $3.3 million for breaching contracts controlling the production of Prolab protein powder that was later recalled for being mislabeled as gluten-free, while also finding Natrol had breached the contract and must pay $747,000 in damages.
