Split Over New Patent Defense May Get High Court Eye

Law360, New York (October 25, 2013, 8:54 PM ET) -- The Federal Circuit decided Friday not to revisit a ruling that granted Cisco Systems Inc. a new trial and created a potent new defense to induced patent infringement, but a sharp division among the judges and a scathing dissent could lead the U.S. Supreme Court to tackle the issue, attorneys say.
