NY Appeals Court Upholds Approval Of 'E-Hail' Taxi Program

Law360, New York (October 29, 2013, 4:48 PM EDT) -- A New York appeals court on Tuesday upheld a lower court's approval of the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission's 12-month pilot program to allow medallion cabs to arrange passenger pickups via smartphone applications, saying the program is in compliance with the city and state statutes.
