Texas Couples Challenge Gay Marriage Ban

Law360, Dallas (October 29, 2013, 9:25 PM ET) -- In a lawsuit filed Monday in Texas federal court, two couples challenged the state’s ban on same-sex marriage, calling it a “grave deprivation of constitutional rights” without a rational basis or compelling government purpose that infringes their basic rights.
