Railroad Giant CSX Off Hook For Tenn. Sales Tax For Now

Law360, New York (October 30, 2013, 6:52 PM ET) -- A federal court on Wednesday barred the state of Tennessee from charging railroad giant CSX Transportation Inc. sales tax on the purchase of diesel fuel within the state, temporarily halting CSX’s potential payment of millions of dollars in tax.
