Thousands With Security Clearance Owe IRS $85M, GAO Says

Law360, New York (October 31, 2013, 2:56 PM EDT) -- Thousands of federal employees and government contractors that have been eligible for security clearances in the last several years owed about $85 million in unpaid federal taxes as of 2012, according to a report released Thursday by the U.S. Government Accountability Office.
