Tobacco Cos. Lose Bid To Oust Counsel In Canadian Suit

Law360, New York (October 31, 2013, 7:51 PM EDT) -- A British Columbia judge on Wednesday gave the green light to a law firm to represent the province in its suit seeking to recover health care costs from tobacco companies, even though the tobacco companies argued that one of the firm's attorneys had previously represented defendants in the same litigation.
