Google, Other Tech Giants Back Tighter Reins On NSA Spying

Law360, New York (November 1, 2013, 1:34 PM EDT) -- Technology giants including Apple Inc., Google Inc. and Facebook Inc. on Thursday backed a measure to stop the National Security Agency’s “dragnet” collection of phone records and urged lawmakers to push for more transparency about how the government collects data from those Internet companies.
