JPMorgan Subpoenaed Over Asian Hiring Practices

Law360, New York (November 01, 2013, 4:06 PM ET) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. has been subpoenaed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement for documents concerning its hiring process and business relations in Asia, the company revealed Friday, adding to the litigation troubles already weighing on the firm.

The documents sought by the SEC focus on new-hire candidates referred by clients, potential clients and government officials, according to filings the company made with the SEC.
