Disney, Screener Hit With Background Check Class Actions

Law360, Los Angeles (November 04, 2013, 5:33 PM ET) -- The Walt Disney Co. was accused of misusing criminal background checks Friday, as rejected job applicants brought separate putative class actions in California Superior Court claiming Disney failed to let them dispute adverse reports and an unrelated background check company was accused of using broad and inaccurate methods.
