Revenue Gap Widens For Biggest UK Firms, Report Says

Law360, New York (November 4, 2013, 4:51 PM EST) -- Ongoing segmentation in the U.S. legal market is increasingly apparent in the United Kingdom as well, according to a survey released Monday, with growing revenue disparity and other competitive pressures throwing the very survival of some there “in doubt.”

The 2013 Law Firms’ Survey report from PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Law Firms Advisory Group found a widening distance in profit margins between the top 10 U.K firms and all others, with consolidation among many second-tier firms failing to translate into markedly better profitability.
