Kroger To Pay Hostess $2M To End Row Over Unpaid Goods

Law360, New York (November 4, 2013, 1:52 PM EST) -- The company that was once the iconic Hostess Brands Inc. on Friday landed a $1.95 million settlement with The Kroger Co. that resolves a dispute over $2.8 million in Hostess products that the supermarket chain allegedly received but never paid for.

Under the terms of the deal, Kroger, which disputed part of the amount Hostess contended it was owed, will pay Old HB Inc. the $1.95 million and drop its claims filed against the fallen snack company’s estate.
