Judge Denies Cert. In BofA Force-Placed Insurance Row

Law360, Los Angeles (November 4, 2013, 8:20 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Monday rejected a motion from mortgage borrowers who sued Bank of America NA over so-called force-placed insurance policies to certify their class over the bank’s objections, saying the plaintiffs are unable to meet the commonality and predominance requirements.
