AIG Settles $274M Suit Over Ex-Real Estate Exec's Pay

Law360, Washington (November 6, 2013, 4:44 PM ET) -- American International Group Inc. agreed on Wednesday to settle a $274 million contract dispute with its global real estate division's former head, who had alleged in New York federal court that the company failed to pay him during the 2008 financial crisis.

AIG spokesman Jon Diat and Sean O'Shea, the attorney for former AIG executive Kevin P. Fitzpatrick, confirmed to Law360 on Wednesday that the insurance giant settled Fitzpatrick's suit, but they declined to share any details about the confidential deal.
