'Three Cups Of Tea' Author's Nonprofit Wins $1.2M Coverage

Law360, New York (November 8, 2013, 2:08 PM ET) -- The nonprofit affiliated with “Three Cups of Tea” author Greg Mortenson won a $1.2 million settlement from a Tokio Marine North America Inc. insurer accused of ducking the $2 million defense bill from a consumer class action over Mortenson’s alleged fabrications and a state probe into misuse of funds, the group’s attorney said Friday.
