Fed. Circ. Urged To Stand By Film Biz Tax Liability Ruling

Law360, New York (November 08, 2013, 4:11 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Justice urged the Federal Circuit to uphold its September ruling that third-party payroll services must apply common law employment relationships when determining federal employment tax wage caps, saying Thursday that Cencast Services LP and others haven't shown they overpaid their taxes.
