Phillies Say Wrong Men Blamed In Mascot Injury Case

Law360, Philadelphia (November 8, 2013, 5:12 PM EST) -- The Philadelphia Phillies on Monday asked a Pennsylvania state judge to toss claims against two men who were allegedly falsely blamed for injuring a woman by throwing her into a swimming pool when one of them was performing as the team’s mascot, and also to strike punitive damages against the team.
