Holland & Hart Still On Hook In Nevada Real Estate Deal

Law360, New York (November 8, 2013, 8:43 PM ET) -- Holland & Hart LLP failed to escape a legal malpractice suit Friday as a Nevada federal judge ruled that a group of investors in a real estate deal had stated a triable claim against the firm for allegedly representing them in a dispute over the deal without their authorization.

U.S. District Judge Miranda M. Du said a jury should decide whether or not Holland & Hart represented the investors at the time it filed a motion to intervene in the underlying litigation on behalf of them....
