Deutsche Telekom Puts Up $734M For GTS Central Europe

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 1:30 PM EST) -- Deutsche Telekom AG on Sunday said it has agreed to acquire telecommunications provider GTS Central Europe from a group of private equity firms for €546 million ($733.7 million) in a deal designed to boost Deutsche’s European business-to-business reach.

Bonn, Germany-based Deutsche said the transaction will enhance its ability to provide a variety of telecommunications services and products in Central Europe, where its offerings have mostly been limited to the mobile sector.
