US Airways, AMR Settle DOJ Merger Suit With Divestitures

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 12:46 PM ET) -- US Airways Group Inc. and bankrupt American Airlines will divest departure gates and 138 takeoff and landing slots at seven key airports under a proposed agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice to settle the government's antitrust suit attempting to block the airlines' merger, the DOJ announced Tuesday.
