Another Judge Refers 'Porn Troll' Prenda Law To Prosecutors

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 6:07 PM ET) -- A Minnesota federal judge last week became the latest to ask federal and state prosecutors to investigate the business activities of Prenda Law, the now-defunct law firm notorious for alleged porn-copyright trolling.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Franklin Noel said on Nov. 6 that he would notify the local U.S. Attorney's office and the Minnesota Attorney General about Prenda and alter-ego entity AF Holdings LLC after discovering that they had forged the signature of a man named Alan Cooper on key copyright documentation used in litigation.
