Boehner Denies GOP Is Intent On Delaying Tax Reform

Law360, New York (November 14, 2013, 6:04 PM EST) -- U.S. House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner on Thursday denied reports suggesting Republicans are intent on sidelining tax reform legislation until 2014.

While answering questions in Washington, Boehner confirmed that party leaders would meet today with House Ways and Committee Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., but scoffed at suggestions that the purpose of the meeting was to get Camp to delay plans to introduce a long-awaited tax reform proposal until next year.
