Obama Urges Congress To Hold Off On More Iran Sanctions

Law360, Los Angeles (November 14, 2013, 9:32 PM EST) -- President Barack Obama on Thursday urged Congress to hold off on legislation that would ramp up economic sanctions against Iran while negotiators pursue an interim deal to stem the Middle Eastern country's nuclear program. 

At a news conference, Obama answered critics who have contended an interim diplomatic deal being pursued by his administration would actually undermine efforts to press Iran into halting its nuclear program.
